Will the owner know I looked?

No. Instagram never reveals who viewed a profile, and your account is never connected here. No request, no notification.

Do I need to log in?

No login, no password, no download. If a site asks for your Instagram password, close it — nothing legitimate needs it.

Why are counts visible but posts locked?

Instagram restricts only the media. The profile shell stays public on every account, which is why real numbers still load.

Is this legal to use?

Reading openly published information is lawful. Using it to harass or impersonate someone is not, regardless of how it was obtained.

Is there a lookup limit?

There is a fair-use cap per visitor each day. Normal use never reaches it, and the counter resets every 24 hours.

The username returned nothing

Usually a typo — every dot and underscore counts. The handle may also have been renamed or the account deactivated.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Everything runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablet and desktop. Nothing to install or update.

Can I see who views my profile?

No, and nor can any other tool. Instagram has never exposed that data. Story views are the one exception, visible in the app.
